I don't think they can, but in the future if they can well that a big bonus.
But for now if you want to play this game with a controller add it in your steam library once that done you can program your controller buttons, i believe there are a lot of youtube videos that show you how to add none-steam games and how to program you controller for keyboad game Like "Fap Night at Frenni" for exemple.
