The average between each update is 4-6 months, two updates per year
And if I remember correctly, the creator has said that there is still a long time before the game is complete, maybe a few years.

81% of v0.6... so yeah thats just from v0.5 to v0.6 and dev already said there will be at least 10 more updates so MINIMUM 3 years until game is complete which im not complaining
