I was a bit skeptical reading the description but the gameplay loop is actually engaging, it has an 'incremental game' feel to it.
My only complain would be that it's not clear the impact of using different materials vs expanding the island so I'm not sure how I should play to maximize the score.
Also, great use of the limitation!
