Thank you very much for this wonder of a game!!!

Few bugs: (v1.0_Linux)

  • (fixed in v1.1!) The 40 lines challenge's hall of fame is showing scores in last digits only!
  • Maybe it's on my side only but the controller does not work on linux (fedora 38 gnome)

Few visual ergonomic suggestions:

  • Neurocognitive visual tip: collateral view does not sees colors. Eye cells are put in a way so only the precise point where your eye is focusing see color, the brain completes the rest with microsaccades and memory. In the context of your game:
    • I think color could have different visual patterns on tetrominos. Currently it's difficult to see which color arrives in the top of the screen or in the "coming next" area of the screen without looking exactly where it is, or even worse the brain could be wrong when estimating which color arrives!
    • I really like the apparence of coming sand color, but since it goes trough a four square long pipe, it always seems that a "straight tretromino" is coming; the ancient system of showing directly the next piece and it's color was clearer. If you can't reverse to ancient system, maybe you can make that pipe in a different longer so it's not "four square long" like a "straight tetromino"

I adore your game. I really hope the DMCA did not made you abandon it!
