the game is pretty fun and i really like the subtle choices made in such a short beta

tight platforming and fast jumps were cool. i would just try to balance the platforming a bit so really important high platform jumps are easier and replace dead ends like the right side with tougher tight jumps.

i also find that making hitboxes as small as reasonably possible is usually a good idea, especially since the jumps are so fast. when the game gets somewhat intense you almost always get hit even if you try to dodge. by softening the difficulty you can make harder content more people will engage with.

the loose camera is interesting, it forces you to trade visibility for accuracy and makes the game feel more tense. i like what it accomplishes but dodging and shooting becomes insanely difficult too suddenly. instead maybe try making everything darker and give the cursor a flashlight to do something similar. gives you some room to make certain uncomfortable places like the center easier with light sources too.

itd be a shame to lose the kinetic feeling of a loose camera so you could try adding a focus mode to weapons that zooms or jerks the camera to the cursor for more damage.
