As the itch page kind of states, you have to earn points in our organization and if you win 1st or 2nd you can convert points to more money (the conversion is on the page). You earn points by completing daily challenges and weekly game creations, but we won’t have weekly game creations during the jam. The conversion rate is very low for this first game jam so it’s perfect for anyone to start grinding now and still get enough points but this is our way of rewarding people who stay active in our organization and want to use our program to learn game development.
