Here’s a list of Suggestions - some I’d love to see, others are food for thought <3
Descriptions of buildings. It’s very hard to tell what buildings actually do. Some experimentation is fine, but does a bean bouncing on a light pole do anything different than bouncing on a house or windmill? I still don’t know :P
Golden Statue should spew more beans or something when clicked. It takes a lot to get there, why not reward us for it? (Maybe mine just glitched, but it just sat there looking pretty, which I understand is its own reward sometimes :P )
Click+drag build?
A way to expand the game out/open in new windows, etc. in browser. It feels a bit buried between the rest of the website, and I like the fullscreen view I get on mobile/Android a lot :D
Inspired by the ‘rainbow bean’ that fills in the corner - super powers that are unlocked by building certain buildings (and then maybe countdown to use as they go), like ‘bean rain’, overpowered bean (spewers?) - cause those buildings that spit out a large bean to do so much quicker for 30 seconds or so, Bean Duplicator - clicking to launch beans is free for 60 seconds, etc…
A building piece I keep wanting is a path or road, in order to liven up scenes created on the island. It would be a mostly flat square that could still interact with beans similar to the flowers. In order to handle directions, a horizontally and vertically repeatable dirt/cobblestone/… texture would probably be ideal.
We did actually have an idea to make a road structure that would sort of act as a conveyor belt!
But yeah, we do have some ideas for buildings like roads and trees to liven up the islands that people can make! We do need to think about the technical ways that it would interact though, like buildings roads between 2 tiles that have the road structure on them - or just that a road is a tiled texture, which is what you're saying, if I'm not mistaken!
Thank you for the suggestion!
