If it doesnt work on windows i have the solution.
Go to C drive
Go to users
Go to "your computer name"
Go to appdata
Go to Local
Go to GeometryDash
And delete CCGameManager1.dat and CCGameManager2.dat
This will run the game but it will delete all of your previous data if you have any
If the folders I mentioned are not coming up then go to properties and tick the hidden and apply to all.
If you have old save data backed up on the cloud that works or on another computer you can copy that data and paste it in the same directory. I hope this helps
