Also thank you for the discord invite! I have gladly accepted this and I am now part of your community!

In regards to the feedback:

  • I totally agree with you on the passive income. It was hard to try and balance all the gold values but settled on the current values for the purpose of testing, also the current gold system does meet the requirements of what I need so had to simplify a lot of systems.
  • With that said, I am currently reworking the entire gold/value system of the game as the current system is not adequate for the purpose I intended it for. Hopefully with the rework, the gold income and cost of units etc will be a lot easier to balance.
  • With passive gold limits, I do think there needs to be something to encourage the player to continue playing, I was thinking a time limit rather than an entire hard-cap, such as passive income only works for 2 hours without playing input/wave completion because this will be better in the long run as when I eventually increase/remove the level cap, especially when the gold income values have been more balanced/reduced.
