I’m not questioning the uniqueness of this idea, but was this inspired by a manga? I’ve seen a manga with a somewhat similar concept. And the MC also resembles the manga’s MC, appearance wise.

Yeah, it's intentionally not unique, it's based on common tropes found in LNs and manga. The "genericness" of the story is actually a plot point that will come up much later.
Probably the biggest inspiration of the game is a NTR game called Thug Hero Party. Similar soup of ideas but the execution is totally different.
