The final version as done from the previous programmer indeed was speculated to come out rather early, A game with a 6 month development cycle, yes this was a possibility. While we had that speed, you often had updates with completely broken game mechanics, like Cassidy draining you of each and every ticket you earned. Or the Misty glitch where she was unbeatable.
While at a time we did have much higher speed, it came with a cost that the game itself wasn't stable. One of the main priorities with this rebuild was to make a very very strong backend.
I don't understand what you mean by Maddy not showing up as a screamer. She already has jumpscares planned for her. Just that if she will not be a roamer like Poppi. There is a good reason she is scripted to just hang out in the goo room right now.
