Is there a way where I could transfer my old data into the newer update? I tried downloading the newest version but my whole game restarts and doesn't have any of my old paths for the other characters. 

You can preserve your save data by going to your old Tailor Tales folder, and copying these folders: Tailor Tales/www/save and Tailor Tales/www/data/img/pictures/Fashion/Completed. Copy these current folders and place them somewhere else as you install the latest version. Once reinstalled, replace the new folders with the ones you copied. That should keep your save file intact as you get the latest game version.
