Can I write it here?... Hope I can...

Anyways, I finished the fist build and now I have... uh... a critisim to share. I have no idea how to approach it because I know the dev came under fire last time and I geniunly don't want to sound like another troll but I just have no idea how to word some things so hope you guys can forgive me.

So I... don't really liked the first build. The strongest suit so far is Zephyr, background art (don't care if its ai generated or not -- I'm a consumer, not a representitive of trade/artist/moraunion). The interactions between Zeph and MC were geniunly wholesome. The bad are... most of other things.

 1) The writing is overall not very good in my opnion. As I understand you try to portray MC as a lone and lonely survivor in post-apocalyptic world similar to Robert Neville from I Am Legend, but sadly he comes off more like angsty teen who is salty with being punished with house arrest. His mental struggles are portrayed way too cartoonishly ("Ugh, I'm lonely af" line seems particulraly off to me)

2) Some of MC's backstory don't make sense as well, like, for example, their age. In the early beginning he tells he has to bury his children but then it is revealed he himself was a schoolkid when apocalypse happened.

3) The direction of Zephyr taking MC back to his own world is really not to my taste and for a multitude of reasons of its own:

3.1) Its hurts Zeph's likeability and my personal trust in him for that matter, as now it's revelaed that the only reason he took pity on MC not because of vertue but becasue he is one of them... which means if they were just on ordinary human he probably woudn't bet an eye.  It’s kinda sets the sincerity of his actions and his general vertue under question (although, that issue generally depends if it's going to get adressed or highlighted in the following builds so...)

3.2) Since the game decides to take the route of a traditional isekai now its kinda renders all of the apocalypse drama  meaningless. If in the following build the post-apocalyptic setting will be replaced with yet another fantasy world and MC is going to be transported to another world anyway, what was even the point of apocalypse? There are a lot of of other reasons to make a person unhappy without going to such extremes.

3.3) The game generally feels like bait and switch, as it presents post-apocalypse only to then turn it into yet another isekai.

3.4) If MC is so important to Lykaia, why its people are so irresponsible for his safety? How come they have discovered the apocalypse happened only now? how can they decided that they have to wait this particular amount of time to make contant with MC? They do realize he easily could have perished multiple times by now?

So... yeah, the first build feels a bit rought. That being said, I still want to give my condolences to the author for an uncalled backlash and props for not stopping with his passion project against all odds, and despite all this criticism I’m still willing to give this vn a chance with the following builds. I’ve read vn’s that are much worse in terms of quality, after all, and I’ve seen a lot of writers improve themselves after first builds, so hey! I hope to be pleasantly surprised.
