I have the same problem and I'm trying to do this fix but I can't find JoiPlay on the play store, has it been removed or something?

well it does show up in my devices, so... Try force stopping google play store and clear it's cache

Even a year later YOU ARE A LIFESAVER just something I need to clarify for everyone that may be viewing this is that you port the file in the archive tab and not through downloads like you might think (it might just be me though so check just in case) and also I'm pretty sure you need the RenPy plugin for it
