  • Love the seamless transition from falling to restarting the level. No need to take my fingers off the controls and hit a restart button, you're right back into the mix as soon as you fail.
  • Game controls feel very smooth and reactive
  • The music matches the game and helps to add a nostalgic arcade feel. Also enjoying the music change up every few levels. Keeps it fresh!
  • The difficulty seems pretty balanced, most times it's taking multiple attempts to pass a level. It's not too easy that I get bored but also not too difficult that I give up and want to play something else. Great job!

Suggestions:

  • I'd love to hear some object impact sound effects. Added bonus if different objects also had their own sound, for example, purple boxes could have a falling whistle sound.
  • I want to know more about our little square protagonist. Why is he going to such lengths to make it to the end of each level? What's driving him? Injecting a little story might enhance the gameplay and give purpose to the little guy's quest. Perhaps we learn a little more about them and their quest after completing each level?
