Great art and vibes and music. Everything is great except the controls.

1) There is definitely something wrong with how the ship responds to the controller stick.

2) Switching between the mouse and controller isn't great. The game can't tell when I want to use the mouse on the menu. It lets you go back and forward in the game when you switch to the keyboard but couldn't find a way to steer.

3) Tiny step-by-step tutorial on the first game would be great. Like >this is your forward button >this is your fire etc. Because I thought the ship only goes backward for 5 mins. (And no one really checks out the controls page :D)

4) The ship starts to spiral out of control when you select the second steering option from settings.

Want to revisit this one when controls are reworked!

Thanks for the comments, we appreciate it. Especially the constructive one, it helps us improve!

1) Assuming you were using the Point-to-direction mode of control, the ship is supposed to point in the direction of the stick. Was it doing something different?
Also, we're talking about creating a third control mode that merge thrusters and rotation together on one stick, we think that some people will like it more.

2) To save time during early development, we made it that the control device used in the title screen is the one used in the game. You can go back to the title screen to change it (B button or ESC from the main menu). With the keyboard/mouse, the steering is with the mouse with the "Point-to-direction" and with A and D with the "Left-Right" control scheme. IMO, Point to direction is more intuitive and precise.

3) We implemented the Welcome/Tips window this week as a solution while we make a formal tutorial. Totally agree with the controls page, except for IKEA furniture, nobody ever reads the manual ;)

4) Not the most precise, we agree.

Thanks for playing and leaving a comment.

We work hard on it and pretty much update everyday. When you come back you'll probably find what you're looking for. Cheers!
