Well, I say it took me around 30 minutes or more to get just good enough to beat the level. Hence my surprise when I defeated the boss for the first time! But, yes, it is both janky and awkward when you start playing the game. There is a lot to improve upon but the core (and what sets it apart from other games) is there!
