I an new to this game and am trying to enjoy this game but I have a few things I'm not sure on as there's really no tutorials or explanation in-game to help with many of the games mechanics.

 1 how do I increase my stats, strength, agility, vitality, and sexiness?

2 doing random encounters leaves me with alot of the pain stat and it takes 10 credits to heal or I rest for the day. Are these the only options or are there others?

 3 Is there a better way to make credits than the mineshaft I think I've found a fight pit but I either need to fight the Bulldog or pay 50 credits.

4 I've seen other in-mates with weapons or special attacks like claws whereas I can only punch, kick, and biting. How can I get weapons or special moves?

I'm also curious are the choices for the player character species going to be expanded in the future as currently the options are very few meanwhile you can meet foxes, horses and such.

1. you gain level and open stats then just add it to anything you want 


2. you open options and leave debug on


3.not yet so repeat option 2


4. You level up your combat by fighting or after beating someone up you can steal their weapon you can also install mods by opening options and leaving modding on

addition to 3, there actually is one to make a shitload of credits by doing almost nothing. to do so you'll need to do the tasks for Alex Rynard. I'm not going to spoil anything, all I'm going to say is that your character isn't going to be... untouched afterwards, if you get my drift.

1. Skills -> Stats -> right hand column, you get 3 stat points to distribute after each level-up.

2. You can buy painkillers from the vending machine in the medical wing (1 cred each iirc.), showers decrease pain a bit, and there are some perks that will automatically lower pain after each turn in combat. Also, apples relieve some pain, you can snag 4 each day for free from the garden.

3. Alex' quest (mines), doing experiments/milking for the doctor (med wing), selling loot to the vending machines, and there are a few hidden caches of drugs/items in off-limits areas that you can get to. After a while, I find that money becomes a non-issue as I'm looting more drugs than I can possibly use and there isn't really all that much else to spend it on once you have the clothing stuff etc.

4. Special moves can be acquired through perks. Weapons can be looted from some encounters (some inmates may drop shivs, guards can drop stun batons, not sure if drop rates are really low or if the drops only occur on scripted encounters/after a certain level).

As for species, horses are already a thing during character creation. You can roll a fox by selecting canine, then choosing a fox head + tail. You can also make hybrids if you want to mix it up. Lastly, there are mods - enable mods in options and restart the game, then have a look - there's rat, badger, bunny... probably more.
