I'm not sure. I didn't run into the problem on my initial playthrough and have only been able to replicate it twice. The other developer has this build of the game so I'll have to ask him later if the variable trigger has changed.
alright, thank you so much! i've tried a few different workarounds (ie. importing old saves) and nothing has seemed to work, so i hope this can be fixed!
