You need to progress main story (ORG lead) to progress with Jessica’s last heart.
Also Jessica is a requirement to progress that bit of the main story.
If you don’t have the leads, you missed a step on the start sequence of act 2.
- Go to Manor’s garden
- Visit Gramps and talk to him
- Train Martial (all 4) then talk again
- Fetch pigeon in lake (check 3 times)
- Talk some more.
The gender, appearance and personality of the kids is locked.
Having more kids with the same woman will just produce the same kid but with a different name.
Limitations of the system, too much effort for something that a number of people avoid.
IMO, it’s better than them staying as useless rolls of sheets with a face poking out.
