I'm assuming you have extracted the file since you've done everything in 1.2.0? The problem is likely to be something that is fixed in the new file called "DOWNLOAD THIS FIX FOR V0.1.2.1 BEFORE" (very creative name) but I have no idea how to apply that fix yet, will update if I figure it out

i use the itch app which probs doesnt like RAR files

I have no idea then sorry, hopefully Kami releases an actual text update soon so we know whats going on and how to apply the update :/

I Uninstalled and reinstalled the game used the patch and it worked and I didn't need to replay the game
I don't "think" I have a second download to this game to keep my saves so uninstalling it didn't clear my saves but if you try this I would make sure you copy your save files just in case
