Mining management game · By
I might be missing something, but the difficulty / progression speed is *INSANELY* slow. Have to do like 8 mining trips just to afford a license to a place past the starter one, and then even with the drill and worm I lost money twice on a new plot, never made enough to cover the license fee.
I'd love to enjoy this game, and get further to see what the end / mid game are like, but I'm just not that masochistic. I'll try it out again if its balanced to be less brutal in an update.
I find the whole forcing you to click ores super fast or they lose value is really annoying because it kills the game's strong suit of being a relaxing experience.
It could be a really fun game, keep at it!
Hi Ben, thank you for your post!
Yep, you are right the difficulty / progression speed was terribly slow haha.
I've released a new update and among other stuffs, I've balanced this a bit.
I hope you will give another try when you can! :)
Oh and if you have any other suggestion please don't hesitate to share it with me! I'm really interested in your opinion!
Seems like the grace period for colllecting the ores is more reasonable now
25$ for a silver axe that costs 3 wood is insane, there should be a very sizable increase in value for silver vs gold vs diamond items. I get the sense diamond has this, but there needs to be more progression earlier on. spent 167 gold to get access to silver and couldn't turn a profit
Not knowing the sell prices for stuff kinda sucks since you only get enough to make a few things and digs take so long.
Still way too slow, make upgrades and licenses cheaper, make things sell for more or make ores yield more. Make it so you can turn a profit on a level 1 license with no upgrades at all if you can afford the license.
I agree the newest update is much better. I played a little while ago, and made no progress. I saw there was an update and played again today (started this morning, and pretty much played all day...nice, chill game). Anyway was able to made decent progress upgrading equipment and affording better mining spots.
