I just got done playing Dead Space (2008) for the first time (wanted to play it before the remake), and HOLY CRAP this was so faithful to the original!
I quickly slipped into the rhythm and patterns I developed playing through Dead Space, and this game just felt RIGHT.
Movement felt right, shooting felt right... enemies, doors, Kinesis... you nailed it.
I am nothing short of amazed with what you were able to do with this. lol I mention in the vid multiple times, but I'd play through a full game version if it was ever made available. Absolutely amazing job. The sound design, lighting, combat, and world building all screamed Dead Space and yet somehow it all added up to something new and terrifying. Looking forward to your next project! :D
Top game. I have not seen good and high-quality demakes of games for a long time, such as Half-life 2 Classic, but this is a very good game in which the locations, although they are reduced, but at the same time they feel the spirit and atmosphere of the original and feel some fear, although Dead Space doesn't scare me anymore. In all locations you can see the original ones here, which is very cool. The only thing is that the location with the elevator and the power machine looks strange and lacks elements at the top when you exit the elevator, and also Isaac himself does not have a kick, which is sad. Well, it's also sad that the game is so short. BUT. I would really like to see a full version of the demake sometime in the future, if possible and go through it again. In general, I really liked the game, definitely top
This was a really fun PS1 version of Dead Space! Definitely brings the same dread I felt from the original. Such a fantastic game. The turning for me was a bit janky but otherwise a very fun game! Great Job!
if i guess right it is remake but original or remaster version tho? i mean as the photos one looks same i kinda wish it was possible to play for those who cant afford gaiming pc to play original
I had a pretty good time with this game!!! This was the second game I played in the video! The atmosphere had me on my feet pretty much the whole time! I really like how the area around you was modeled! I gives me a nostalgic feeling! Keep up the good work! So I decided before I started stream to play this. Somehow I found out about this Demake from Tiktok. I was like "There is no way in hell I am not playing this." I had a blast playing this Demake. I was so salty when it ended. It was super silly seeing Dead Space like this. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to more PS1 indie games now because of this.
Big compliment to the devs for making the gameplay actually feel really good. Sadly I had a gamebreaking bug, the overall impression still remains positive though. :)

I ran into the same issue while trying it out. Sony hasn't added driver support outside of Steam. I ended up switching to an Xbox controller. Sorry

pra mim fica bugado, sem textura na maioria das coisas e piscando uns flash rosa, verde, azul, etc..
Ih, tenta atualizar os drivers da placa ou instalar os programas de dependências! Normalmente pode ser isso
