Perhaps for these preview versions of the game you could focus on what the player can and cannot do rather than include content that the player cannot enjoy. An example of this would be "doors" that the player cannot go through. For example, after defeating Cynthia you "unlock" a previously inaccessible door. The visual language of the game includes that if you see glowing particles coming out of the "door" you can enter, but this is not the case with this door.

I think the idea at first is to grasp the trick for making systems and test mechanics in the first map before expanding the content with the other maps that you say it's missing
