Rule 9 states "Mods reserve the right to correct behavior they deem unsuitable for the Discord, even if said behavior does not break any written rule."
Basically it's a judgment call on their part if someone is being overly weird, disrespectful, distracting, etc. I don't know what the specific case was regarding what happened with you, but if you are able to do try to contact one of the mods and see if you can get an answer as to what happened
