Freddy shows up out of no where and kills me? I still have power and no one is at the door. What is happening?

Freddy moves based on the time. You don't have to watch out for freddy at all until its around 4/5 a.m. Around those times you'll hear her laugh again and that's when she appears in the room to the right of your office on the cameras. For example, she'll be in the closet after I think about three or four laughs in total, and you're safe from her at that point. After you hear one more laugh after she's in that closet, you're no longer safe with your right door open at all unless you're watching her on the camera. So the strategy is when she's in that room, you HAVE to close your right door when you're checking foxy or any other room but can open the door when your done and immediately go back to freddy in that room on the camera.
You must have lost all your power, which is when Freddy comes to jumpscare you, and there is nothing you can do about it.
However, you can clutch with this method. if you are having trouble conserving your power throughout the entirety of the night, then you can try and conserve it until a little after 5am. By doing so, you will have a high chance of getting to 6 am and completing the night, before Freddy can jumpscare you.
