This is a pretty minor problem since it would require the player to make a pretty obviously bad decision but I was able to soft lock the game using only one item and two special encounters. First I found Round Guard as one of my relics. Next I encountered the strange mirror scenario where you can give up all your orbs for the Orboros. The next event I encountered was Haglin and out of curiosity I removed my Orboros from my deck. When i reached my next combat encounter I found I could not progress since I could not attack, nor could I die because I was in a constant state of reloading and Round Guard was protecting me. I would have been totally OK with just dying for my dumb decision but i thought the devs might like to know that a player can pretty easily soft lock themselves with Round Guard.
