I'm also stuck here, but I purchased a version on Steam. Is the steam version equivalent to the Steam version? I bought there for convenience, but sounds like that may have been a mistake.
Primarily though, I can't tell when it's the end of development (stop trying) or whether I just haven't figured out the right area of town to walk to yet.
