Oh, we totally understand your point about the steamy content. We discussed it a lot about it because Ray is a flirty character and people would expect that from him, but we decided to go deeper into his route and show that he can be more than that.
And I do agree that we could explore more of his past struggles but that could also drag the story to an unnecessary extent. Ray also mentions in his romantic ending ///SPOILER AHEAD/// that he didn't have feelings about what happened in the past anymore. He was just following the course because that's what he was doing his whole life.
So talking about it in the story could be meaningless too 😅
About his relationship with MC, I think we wanted it to be shown as a friendship developing into something deeper. Which takes time and can be subtle too. So I understand your point.
