Love the aesthetic, I live for experimental art styles, I was already interested when I saw screenshots on the thread. So far it's a very simple game, but I'm curious to see the final product.

Some stuff:

-I feel like moving outside of combat should also be controlled with the mouse, it feels odd to have to change from one input style to another.

-Add some feedback to the movement, like dust particles appearingas you move, or any effect. Movement feels bland without any motion.

-moving doesn't feel as useful, since it consumes your whole turn to do so. maybe move is always a free action, that way you can play around with positioning more often.

-out of combat gameplay is very simple, not sure what I could recommend here, but so far you are mostly just moving to get to the next encounter or cutscene.

Anyways, keep it up!

Thanks, these are some great suggestions. The dust particles especially, I never even thought of that.
