I haven't found an actual number by the entrance. Just the one you hit yourself for. One time, I found one on an item on the desk you start out facing. A couple times on an item in the cart. I've found the actual number near the exit.
Just looked, can't seem to find any near there. Should I just write the exact locations where I've found them so far then edit out spoilers after? Sometimes trying to talk around things makes it difficult.
(Not sure if it matters, I'm playing version 1.5.)
