What hardware are you running on? Are you using a new save/deleted old ones in case you had game version 0.7 earlier?
Any errors showing up?
Windows 11 laptop, new game, and an error direct x encountered exception shutting down. Or something like that.
Need to know the GPU, specifically.
Laptops tend to have integrated GPU's, which can work but is far from supported since they are usually fairly weak when it comes to gaming performance.
