How does porting to consoles work out? Is it as simple as building for windows mac and linux?

The public version just packages for Win/Linux/Mac right now. For consoles, you'll need to be under NDA with Nintendo/Microsoft/Sony and talk to us about it. Console ecosystems aren't open platforms so we all have to jump through hoops there.
(but the idea is that your game should work without a lot of drama on those platforms once the extra magic is set up for you.)
