This game is amazing! The writing is absolutely phenomenal and I can't stop replaying and watching the different outcomes. Good luck with the game, I'll be looking forward for updates!
I think past tense works if everything is in past tense, because then it sounds like "a long time ago..." or "once upon a time..." IMO the problem is when you mix tenses, then it's just confusing.
I'm a big fan of Young Marcus, I think both Randiel and Serialaries did a great job with it.
Thanks for reading and for such great compliment. I really tried to add replay value in different outcomes, even though my story is very chronological, point A to point B, instead of open world.
