I stumbled upon this game in a bundle, wanted to play it, realized I hadn't actually bought that bundle, and then decided to buy it outright after hyping myself up to play. I'm a bit let down, though, in large part because I'm currently stuck--I'm in Knight-time and am hacking and slashing at multiple enemies before being able to go downwards, and some of the gooey black bats are disappearing away from where I can hit them, preventing me from progressing :(
