I like the eerie feeling that you conjure with your writing. It shows a lot of skill in world-building. I would have loved to be able to get more information about the voice - all of those paths dead-ended, and maybe even a "coming soon" would have been more satisfying than a dead-end, but maybe that was your intention as well? Either way, I want to know more about the voice!
