Nice game. Some feedback.

Nice game! I liked the intro illustrations and the pixel art characters!

Thank you for including checkpoints!

Some of the invisible traps were kinda annoying, but I guess it's in character with war criminal Pekora.

The tower climbing section really reminded me of Jump King. I fell about 10 times and was about to quit but I endured and managed to finish the game. :)

Some improvement suggestions:

  1. Add a game icon to the Unity build! It adds a lot to the game!
  2. Please consider adding English subtitles to the intro. They could go at the top of the screen or in a different color.
  3. Add a volume setting for sound effects or a general volume setting. Sfx are pretty loud.

  4. Consider enabling V-Sync in the game or limiting the frame rate to a reasonable number. The game is running at 3000FPS (actual number on my PC) and using GPU power unnecessarily.

  5. Once the intro is finished, automatically move to the play screen or show a message for the player to click the button. I stared at a black screen for a good 10 seconds waiting for something to happen before I realised I had to press the button.

  6. The controls instructions are away from the starting position, so the player must guess the right buttons to press to reach it. I suggest making the instructions show up as soon as the game starts.

  7. Consider adding a UI indicator showing the number of coins collected (could be on any corner of the screen). Also, do the coins have any use? It was not explained in the game (or I didn't notice it)

  8. Consider adding an HP bar to the boss fight enemy (not really necessary, but it would be nice)

  9. Consider adding support for non 16:9 monitors or running in Windowed mode. I had to manually run the game in Windowed 1920x1080 resolution using the command line because it looked weird on my ultrawide monitor at fullscreen.

Overall a short and fun game. Keep up the good work! :D
