Some effort put into it? There are plenty of other mods that when they were on launch day had much more new stuff than Gacha Plus. Standing that this mod just came out is not an explanation for the microscopic amount of new stuff.
You're just driving me insane right now, already complaining about a mod that is recently made for not having a lot of brand new stuff. Just like Erin said, the mod will be updated every two weeks with new assets, which mind you, takes more time and effort to be put into.
