I think I saw this game on YouTube before but forgot, then I decided to browse around Itch for a bit and found this game.
And to be honest, I was very shocked to find how much I enjoyed this game, from its late 90's VHS Tape Aesthetic, to its very peaceful (but also creepy, uncomfortable music at certain points of the game) and also, the most obvious... the scares within this game.
I think I like this game quiet frankly cause I feel like its made for users like me who want a casual and enjoyable experience, but also a game filled with thrills, fun, excitement, but also throughout the game, having scares and out of place things and events happen to remind me (as the player) that this is a Horror game.
I love the contrast of peacefulness and absolute horror, its a perfect balance (in my opinion) for games like this.
Overall, just for a demo, this is very good. I'm not the type of person to have high standards for games (or any media for that matter), but genuinely this game blown past my non-existing expectations. I enjoyed every moment of it. (Including the creepy/scary moments too 😅)
I would rate this game a solid 9/10! 😇💯
