Don't worry, it's not a stupid question. I wasn't sure either, so I went to search for more information.
Based on this documentation, it seems like it should be possible to port a version of the game to Chrome OS, but it requires creating an Android app first. We do plan to create an Android app after the full game is done, so I will try the Chrome OS process when we do. Thank you for the suggestion!
