Hello, I do not recommend buying this game, we cannot connect to the game even though we put in exactly the same password as well as email. By trying the game several times it crashes at the slightest password entered.

just wanted to say this is genuinely one of my favorite games of all time and i highly recommend it! i have hundreds of hours in it at this point. if you ever wished minecraft was more of a genuine survival game, this is for you! the amount of thought and detail put into every aspect of the game is nuts, and it's constantly being updated

i have been watching play this and i was wondering if you can add a SPIGOT item into the game so we can tap PINE trees for RESIN and maybe SYRUP from MAPLE trees. RESIN is such a pain to get and adding SYRUP to the game would be cool cuz then you could add things like PANCAKES.
Love this game. As an old Wurm player and OG Minecraft player who feels the game is too fast for anything to feel like it has substance, VS is the perfect amount of hardcore sandbox. Just challenging enough to make you feel like youll never make progress, and incredibly rewarding when you do.
10/10 would die from eating a stew my friend didn’t realize he made with poison mushrooms again.
Hey! I just bought the game, but when I went to get my game key on the my purchases tab, it said that there were no game keys available. It also appears that I wasn't emailed any game keys. Should I wait for more keys to become available? Was this a mistake on my end? Any advice would be great!

Kind of exposes how bad the authentication system is. I get wanting to avoid piracy but locking the entire game out because of something completely out of the customer's control is a bit questionable.

Steam has this feature where there're different pricings for every country, and games in Argentina end up being really unexpensive! It's incredible, I've bought awesome games for ridiculously low prices, which I couldn't have played otherwise.

The only thing I find interesting on it, is despite being voxels, the characters look completely better by far than Minecraft's (or what I think the characters should've been designed like, on this one), only comparable with "Cube World" or "Barony: Blessed Addition".

I'm not sure you can understand concepts more complicated that call of duty and triple A games, but when you literally start with no money and no backing the cheapest method that still allows for creative freedom is probably the only choice. I cant imagine completely judging a complex system completely based on only what you can immediately see, like an actual baby that doesn't want the present because thy cant see the toy pfft. lol
Honest reply, Minecraft's cube grid system and aesthetic has it appeal the same way as square grid systems do (e.g. Dwarf Fortress, Stardew Valley, RPG Maker). There is very little real competition for Minecraft in this regard, as most games don't dare competing with literally one of the biggest games ever. In turn, Minecraft has lots of untapped potential itself.
Here's someone saying "I bet I could do better" and just trying their best and making a damn fine product. I too wish the game would look a little cuter, but making game art decisions like these is not as easy as it sounds.

If you're actually curious, it uses the Minecraft aesthetic because it started off with Minecraft. Vintagecraft was a mod split off from TerraFrimaCraft back in 2014, which eventually became its own standalone project, Vintage Story. You can actually still go play the old mod, though at this point it's several years out of date.
I know that it would be difficult to do, but could we possibly be looking forward to a port of this game on consoles in the future? I've been wanting to play something better than Minecraft with my friends, but my laptop is a junk one that overheats very quickly.
Have to say, this is a very challenging game but it's AMAZING! I highly recommend this to anybody who is tired of the 15-minute 'I have diamonds already' runs in Minecraft that can get boring. It's terrifying, difficult, and interesting! Other than the price (maybe sales every now and then?) solid 9/10

I think its 18 euros on the website, which I assume is around $23 USD.
So, the same price, but the official website just defaults to a different currency.

Best medieval sandbox out there. It just needs some more content and would be perfect. As with any sandbox it’s much better with friends!

do you main the main website at vintagestory.at or account.vintagestory.at? for the former you can redeem an account when logging in on the latter

I don't think I've ever seen a survival game utilize voxel's for modeling (In my experience with Clay), I really love the concept of it though.
And this may have become my new favorite survival game to play now, So there's that.
