Not sure how to get the first ending. 10/10 game

I'm struggling to get that ending as well, even with the hint
Reject him when given the opportunity.
For me, the first ending was Don't Talk To Strangers which I got by talking back to him after he stabbed me
just be really friendly to him until the end. you'll know you're on the right track when instead of calling you 'star' he calls you 'prey'.
