I watched Shotgun Wedding in the cinema.
The movie just exudes Ryan Reynolds energy, you can just smell him on this movie.
Lo and behold, he was an Executive Producer.
The main male character might as well have been Ryan Reynolds himself.
The oversimplified premise of the movie is that basically a wedding gets interrupted by some uninvited guests.
I would love to give details but I don't wanna give spoilers so here. The main couple is about to get married but at the rehersal dinner (we missed the first part of the movie and it was at the rehearsal dinner by the time we arrived) some issues are starting to pop up in their relationship. When the lady's ex joins the party it doesn't get any better. Later at the wedding more issues pop up and just as the wedding was almost called off, a few guests, who definitely weren't on the list, decided they wanted in on the fun and brought some nice friendly guns with them to casually threaten everyone there. From then on, it’s up to the bride and groom to save all their loved ones from the armed intruders.
