-----Puzzle Spoilers, go play the game first-----

The unique control scheme was lots of fun. There's definitely much more to explore mechanically if you were interested in making a full game. The puzzles were a little obtuse. I ended up checking the solutions page for the first two, and accidentally solved the last one.
I guessed that some sort of impact was required for the first puzzle, but I guess I didn't hit it hard enough when I tried to ram it the first time, so I disregarded speed as the answer.
For the second puzzle, I had basically forgotten that turning my lights on/off was a thing by that point, as there was never actually a reason prior to switch them before, and they just seemed like a quality of life element, not a real gameplay object.
I probably would have solved the third puzzle but I bumped a fish towards the window by accident while exploring the room. A happy little accident.
2/3 of this review is complaining but make no mistake, I had a largely positive experience with The Helmscrab. I just wanted to be clear, since you seem to be interested in feedback in other comments.
Well Done

Thanks for the feedback, and also thanks for marking your post as spoilers, that's really considerate of you.

So yeah, all of that feedback makes a lot of sense. I have a few ideas for solutions, just didnt get a chance to implement. I was wondering if that was going to happen on the third puzzle! If I had more time I'd like to make the whole thing happen more easily while intentional, and less easy to happen accidentally.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback about your experience. Ultimately I'm here to learn and that's really helpful for me!
