I think that and some camera shake could juice it up a bit.

Oh yeah! I already am raising some events to hook sounds up later, but I have no experience creating SFX (or music) so it's going to take a while until I stop to learn. My priorities are systems and art at the moment. Now thinking about it, I should go after some free libraries to get some placeholder sounds until then
About the camera shake, aren't you experiencing any camera shake in the prototype? There should be shaking even if you're holding the camera down with the mouse. Or my code is broken TnT
