Buy the stamina shot and use it ASAP when you begin a night on Normal or above, make sure you buy a robot companion as well they WILL help save your bacon more than you think, finally buy the spray can in the event you get chased spray the girls with it, don't worry they won't be harmed only stunned.

Another tip that helped me on the more difficult lvls greatly, When moving forward also hold the A or D keys while running. You move twice as fast just run at a wonky angle but you get used to it. 

If you're on the same version I am on (0.1.3) and got Bonfie active (which she wasn't for the longest time, I had the coins and everything but she just didn't spawn) then, well, to put it bluntly unless you find an exploit or a flawless strategy I have yet to figure out you will just have to bite the bullet and do the chores you can before you just have to hide in the vents. My advice is to do the toilets, Lefty and then hide in the vent in the security office (so you can quickly answer the phone when it rings before you dodge back). Maybe not the most exciting strategy but without any real countermeasures we can use and with the timers being as short as they are it's the best option we have.
