I apologize for the inconvenience. The file was indeed missing for whatever reason. I've fixed the error, but you will need to download the game again.
Yes, that's because I had to use a newer renpy version to rebuild the project. This new version only has one folder for both 32 and 64 bit Linux. So you should be able to run the game from the new archive.
Edit: No I am not kidding. But yes, the i686 folder is missing.
