Pretty much all RPGMV games are broken when it comes to their Linux versions, but that’s not due to fidless’ fault. It’s just the way RPGMV is.

There are two ways of making the game work AFAIK:

  • download the Windows version, and run the game through Wine. You’ll need to setup a Wine environment with all the proper Windows fonts for the game to render properly. Using Lutris may be the safer bet :)

  • go and download an up-to-date nwjs version, and place the files in the game install, overwriting those that were already existent, and reattribute your permissions so you can run the nw process. I have not tried this on this game, so it may not work
