It has been an amazing ten days since the Steam release! Around 6k downloads and 1.5k added to Wishlist! This is just WOW! Thank you for everything, guys, you ROCK!
Our current reviews are mostly positive and to be honest, we have you to thank for this. We know you want to see more, and yes, you deserve that!
We have received very helpful feedback! This is amazing because our “season by season” release strategy 100% aims for “improving the game with player ideas and feedback!”
So here’s what we have on our table… Let’s recap!
1- We are adding two maps to Level One. Currently the game has a dark fantasy vibe and we believe from the feedback received, the community loved it! The new build will also have two other interesting places.
2- New types of enemies. We are adding new enemies and one more boss!
3- We are going to add TWO high quality cutscenes… I won’t say what they are… ;)
4- Technical improvements:
- KeyBinding
- Full GamePad Support with Inverted Y Axis Option
- Vsync Feature / FPS Limitation
- Better Combats, Improved Bow Feature
- Camera Improvements
With this huge update, we are planning to have about 1 hour of gameplay!
We want to release complete Season 1 at the end of January! For now it looks like a real challenge but we will see!

We hope you are all doing well in the last days of the year. With this update, we want to tell you about the progress and some decisions we have to make.
The updates will be live in the next release of Episode 1
Dev Team: Inheritance: Ladeina’s Path started to be developed in June 2022 with a solo developer. By September, we had built the core team. After the first release, our team expanded even further. We have new friends in game design and animation fields.
However, even though we strengthened our team with new members, our lead designer had to take a step back from the project because of some serious health problems. We hope for a speedy recovery for him and he will continue to be an important part of the project.
Going forward in 2023, we are going to fill his roles.
From day one, we announced that we are making this game season by season and our community’s feedback will be what guides us on this path.
Nearly all feedback mentioned needing improvement to the combat system. We are working to merge the logics of the current combat system and we are planning to serve a better combat experience.
*We have a similar approach with the range attacks too.
*We added some polishing to make the combat feel better.
*Romance Cards will be added (the cards are unlockable with achievements)
*The camera issue will be fixed
*We fixed some locomotion animation issues
T*he rebind-able key feature will be added
*FPS limitation, VSync , Invert Y Axis Features will be added
*New execution animations will be added
*Better GamePad Experience with new options

RoadMap: Since our lead designer is on hiatus because of health problems, our release plan has been affected. We were planning to release Episode 1 in January 2023 but we have to delay the release time. SFX creation and Voice Acting are the main fields where we need to work. However, we don’t expect a dramatic delay but I think it is safe to say we may have around a one month delay. We will use this delay as an advantage for working more on the mechanics.
New DLC: We are really excited to announce that we are working on a new DLC! This DLC will contain every media asset and will be updated with new season releases.
*All sexual cutscenes (Rendered/Realtime): The movie files will be 4K resolution
(2 Cutscenes: 1 Rendered, 1 Realtime movie for episode one)
*The OST: All original sound tracks will be added in this package
*The Romance Cards: The collection of the erotic character hand painted cards. (Two cards in Episode One)
What is the motive of the DLC:We are planning to have a financial source for hiring more professionals into the team. We want to improve the game in the art and animation fields. The income of the DLC will be spent mostly in these fields.
This will be the only DLC related to the media asset: Once you purchase, you will be updated with every release of the game.
The Plan: In 2023, we are planning to release two more Episodes. Around 15 sexual cutscenes, 20 Romance Cards and 5 Original Sound tracks
The Price: We are planning to set the price around $9. This will be a great support for us!

The first update of 2023!

We hope you have a great start to 2023! New year, new hopes!
In Inheritance: Ladeina’s Path, we are continuing to work hard. In the last update we mentioned that our lead designer had to quit because of his health issues.
We would love to talk about what we have done so far and what we are currently working on.
This release will be Episode 1 and it will have 3 different locations. The first location is the ruined zone where you play the current build. We love to announce that we have mostly completed the general structure of the other locations.
We added the new enemies to the maps but still need time for completing all planned enemy types.
We announced that we are going to have 2 cutscenes, but we decided to add some fetish scenes (not too long). We want to make players feel what we feel about this opening episode and to use cutscenes to improve the game storytelling. And we decided to remove the second puzzle for the episode. There will only be one puzzle.
2 weeks ago, our focus was on performance issues and the combat improvements. We have done a lot in these 2 fields. We expect 20-30% better FPS with the new build. And the combat / range system feels more fresh! We are planning to publish a combat dedicated video to Youtube soon.
We have rendered the opening scene and now we are planning to add sounds and voice acting that will be coming soon.
We have created 2 romance cards and they are now ready to be shared. We are planning to share these cards after the opening scene’s sounding is over. The video and cards will be free for all patrons forever. The google drive folder was created and we started to upload the files. That folder will be updated every time we create new assets.
For the rest of the month, we want to complete the new features and the quest implementations. At the same time, we are planning to complete all cutscenes.
