What the tittle says. Yes you can lower the speed but it add MORE NOTES ??? that goes conter to wanting to slow the game down to make it easier dont you think ? even on the easiest difficulty you either need to have to note go fast but be fewer or slower but have more notes. Thats, pardon the french, ass backwards and need to be reviewed before the launch. Otherwise great game and nice art but the gameplay is all out of wack
Yes that is what I said there is both but they are both useless. If I go on easy and the note fall too fast, you'd think slowing their speed would be the logical way to make it easier but instead you give people more notes to deal with that's a backward logic if I ever saw one why would I want more notes when all I asked for is to SLOW if you want to ass more notes then maybe add this as an option too? or mention it at least? The way it is now both sliders are useless as it seems you want to punish the player from trying to ease up the content
Slowing down =/= Adding more notes. It seems that you are new to rhythm games, so please be aware that the number of notes is always the same, it will not be changed no matter how fast or slow it is. It is also included in many rhythm games for the players to adjust until they are satisfied, so I don't see a reason of removing it.
In fact, changing the scroll speed is made for people who want to be more comfortable at reading notes, but not reducing the difficulty. As more notes were added, it would be harder to read the chart for players. Hence the player would need the slider for changing the scroll speed. In the nutshell, if you find slowing down the speed would make it hard to read, then increase the speed until you are satisfied.
If you want to play an easier chart, change the difficulty, but not the scroll speed. I hope this helps.
